Shooting went alright. There's a small window of time where interesting people are out and places are still open. For every one person who allowed me to take their photo, there were probably four that denied me. Slow shutter speeds and big apertures make for a non-sneaky demeanor, so I wasn't quite as aggressively sheisty as I normally am in the day time. I'm 79% satisfied with my series. I feel that I am in the same rut as Cole described to us the other day. A combination of technical setbacks and confidence issues still plague me as the semester rolls on. I feel like I can't get my footing, and I'm scrambling sideways to create series. That's been an issue also, my series cohesiveness. I can't do it? I don't know. Photography is so exciting to me; The chemicals, light, time, etc. It's still prestidigitation. I guess if I can keep that mindset I'll inevitably make it out of this. I'm lower than a snake's belly in a wagon rut right now!
I really like this image I'm actually looking foward to seeing the rest, and yeah I know exactly how you feel, it's hard to creat in idea of what you want to shoot, then it's hard to shoot it, then once it's shot you look at the images, and I know for me i always seem to have to go back out to shoot more to get a full ten images. But if the rest of your images look this good there is nothing you need to worry about.
